Call for Symposia
FAOPS 2027 seeks to curate focused, high-quality thematic sessions that reflect the scientific diversity of the physiological sciences, while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration with pharmacology and related biomedical fields across the Asian and Oceanian region and beyond. The congress will be held in conjunction with the 40th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Malaysian Society of Pharmacology and Physiology. Proposals should align with the congress theme and the scientific scope of FAOPS 2027.
All proposals must be submitted via the congress website.

Symposium Format
- Three (3) speakers per symposium
- 60 minutes total (including Q&A)
- Each symposium must nominate one Organiser (primary contact), who may or may not be one of the three speakers.
- The Organiser will be responsible for coordinating the session and liaising with the Scientific Committee
- All speakers are required to attend and present in person (virtual or pre-recorded presentations will not be accepted)
Proposal Requirements
- Symposium title and synopsis
- Thematic relevance to congress theme (The Marvels of Life and Beyond) and scientific tracks
- Three confirmed speakers with titles and affiliations
- Talk titles and brief speaker profiles for each presenter
- Regional, international, and gender diversity of speakers encouraged

Registration Policy
All symposium speakers are required to register for FAOPS 2027. Acceptance does not include free registration. Confirmed symposium speakers will be entitled to the early-bird registration rate.Â
