FAOPS 2027 Young Scientist Travel Grant Award
The Organising Committee of FAOPS 2027 invites applications for the FAOPS 2027 Young Scientist Travel Grant Award. This grant aims to support postgraduate students and early-career researchers based outside Malaysia who require financial support to attend FAOPS 2027 and present their research at the congress.

Eligibility
- Open to applicants affiliated with institutions outside Malaysia. Applicants from Malaysian institutions should apply under the MSPP Travel Grant Award scheme.
- Postgraduate student (Master/PhD), or early-career researcher (within 5 years post-PhD)
- Be the presenting author of an accepted abstract at FAOPS 2027
- Register and attend FAOPS 2027 in person
- Obtain endorsement from a supervisor or Head of Department
- Ensure that all research involving human participants and/or animals complies with relevant ethical approval requirements (where applicable)

- Short CV (maximum 2 pages)
- Supervisor / Head of Department endorsement letter
- Supporting documents (proof of student status / PhD certificate / employment verification)
Selection Criteria

Due to the competitive nature of the award, not all eligible applicants can be supported. The Scientific Committee’s decision is final.
Presentation Requirement
Successful awardees are required to deliver an oral presentation at FAOPS 2027.
Award Conditions
- The Young Scientist Travel Grant provides partial financial support only (RM 2500). Awardees are required to register for FAOPS 2027 and cover all expenses at their own expense, including registration, travel, and accommodation.
- The award will be presented onsite during the official ceremony. Awardees must be present onsite at FAOPS 2027 to receive the award on stage. Failure to attend may result in forfeiture of the award.
- Awardees must present their work at FAOPS 2027.
- Any changes to the presenting author or withdrawal of the accepted abstract may result in disqualification from the award.
- Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required information and documents are submitted in full by the deadline. Incomplete applications or missing supporting documents will not be considered.
Submission Method: Applications for the FAOPS 2027 Young Scientist Travel Grant must be submitted online via the FAOPS 2027 congress website, together with abstract submission (via the abstract submission portal). Travel grant applications are integrated into the abstract submission form.
